Two biggest KETO mistakes and more...



How many times have you tried to start keto?

When I ask these two questions to my clients, they usually mention the same 2 answers:
Ketoflu (because they are not meeting their electrolytes needs, or they are not drinking exogenous ketones)
Constipation  (because they are over eating proteins)


Most of the people who try to start keto diet quit during the first week due to KETO-FLU.

Another large group of people abandon keto pretty soon because they experience constipation or they don't see the results they were expecting, not because keto doesn't work, but because they are not following the protocol correctly.

Constipation during keto is caused for the lack of fiber consumption. People often forget to include vegetables, berries, and enough liquids in their daily routine. They focus on eating fats and meats. One big mistake keto newbies do, it is abusing protein consumption. Which makes our bodies to enter in a process called gluconeogenesis (GNG), where excess protein converts into glycogen.

When your body is in gluconeogenesis does burn glucose (instead of fat).

When I explain to my clients, that ketoflu, constipation, gluconeogenesis, lethargy, tiredness, etc can be avoided during keto adaptation period, they feel relieved and they stick to their keto diet with great success.

Avoid keto flu by keeping your electrolyte intake on point and drinking exogenous ketones
Avid constipation by eating moderate amounts of protein, and increase veggies consumption.

I want to show you a few pictures of some of my clients who wanted to quit because the weren't feeling ok at the beginning of their keto jorney, but following my advice, getting their electrolytes, drinking ketones, consuming good fats like MCT oil, ghee, etc. and controlling their protein intake and increasing their veggies and keto fruits (berries, avocados, etc) they totally overcame keto adaptation and lost remarkable amount of weight.
